I could say I'm in love right now. I met my new partner from one of the dating websites referred to me by a friend. She is really an exciting person.

It was three months ago when I visited a site for "single people," or so what that website claims in its ads, and there I saw her. Her pretty face first caught me, but it was her candidness that actually got me.

We first said "his" and "hellos" to one other before finally asking for each other's Skype accounts. I am a member of at least three dating websites, but that one where I found my girlfriend was the best.

So we started talking at Skype for hours every night. She was really lovable. It took me more than a month to finally get her yes. It was a wonderful experience. We know what we have, with this long distance relationship, is so fragile and may not work. This is actually her first time to try this kind of relationship, and that she's no past experiences with finding a partner in any dating websites. And that it scares her. So I have to keep on reminding her that like all other relationships, even those that are notmade from dating websites,depend on the two parties. There are no perfect relationships they say. Even thosethat seem perfect in the very beginning will fall out in the end. Everything depends on each of the two parties in that relationship.

We're one month already, and so far, everything's doing fine. I'm planning to see her early next year. I've already booked a round trip plane ticket for that visit. I'm a bit excited actually. I know it's still months away, and there are a lot of things that could happen before then. We're just keeping our fingers crossed we will get through each obstacle that may try to break us apart. She still wants to talk to me every night, and sometimes early in the morning. We also watch movies together even if we're very far away from one another. You see, the internet and the webcams have really helped us closer together everyday. It was hard for her at first, she even wanted me to come to her place before the year ends. But I had to tell her that there are just things that aren't our control. She's at least very smart to understand that.

Sohopefully, we won't be counting months next time, but years and years of being together.
