Amanda was excited to discover that her parents would allow her to try free online dating. The dating site was created for teenagers. Her mother warned her about possible predators that could be on the free online dating sites. Her parents decided to pay for a dating site rather than allowing her to participate in free online dating. While on the site, Amanda found another boy the same age as her. She would write this boy every day, and continued to share her inner most secrets with this individual for months. Soon the boy by the name of Henry asked if he could meet her in person. She decided that she better ask her parents before engaging in such activity. Amanda had developed feelings for this boy, and decided that he was her first love. She daydreamed often about Henry, and would stroke her stomach as she thought of him. Henry had posted a photo of himself on the site. The photo was of a teenage boy that had blond hair and crystal blue eyes. She printed off this picture and would caress it at night before she would fall asleep. She desperately wanted to meet Henry in person. So eventually her parents allowed them to meet. Henry would drive to her house, and they were to go see a movie. Amanda was fixing her make up when she heard a knock at the door. When she ran downstairs to open the door, she peer out to see no one. But as she glanced down, she saw a young handsome boy sitting in a wheelchair. Shocked she thought that maybe there was a mistake. Henry never told her that he had been in a horrible car accident when he was only three years of age, which had paralyzed him from the waste down. The accident was devastating, and he sought to find a girl with the free online dating site, but no one was ever interested. He had always told the girls before Amanda, and they would stop writing him almost immediately. Amanda asked Henry why he had not told her about his condition, and he with a shaky voice replied " You would not continue to write me if I would have". She formed a light smile across her face, and said that he was right. He started to leave the house, when Amanda stopped him. She asked him to be honest from now on. He seemed stunned when she seemed to still carry on with interest in him. The two went to see a movie, and continued to date. Today, Amanda and Henry are married with two children.
