I was working as a customer service representative for a dating service who was paying me a monthly salary of 20 thousand. I initially thought what my job responsibilities would be in a dating service company but when I started working for them, I realized that my job responsibilities are much tougher than what I had thought about. I was in the email department where I received customer's grievances and I was supposed to reply to their emails and help them with appropriate resolution. During my training days, all looked so good and simple. We were often told that we can expect weird queries from our customers but were never told what would be those queries and if we have any ways to answer them. Once our training got over, we became more excited as we can now reply to customer's queries. We were only allowed to reply 10 emails a day which would be under the supervision of a supervisor or someone who is working in that company from a pretty long time. I also did some mistakes but learnt my lessons and never repeated them. After completing 30 days, we were told that now they will allow us to reply as many emails as we can and they will also give access to those weird emails which we were informed to us during our training days.

I was also little curious to know what would be there in those weird emails and I received my first so called weird email. I read the email and it was nothing but full of dirty stuffs. The sender said that he want to kiss a girl who is charming, adorable, cute and is broad minded and wanted to know if I can help him get such a girl. I was pretty amazed to read that email and did not know what I should reply to such emails. What I found is such people wanted to have a fling with girls who are like minded and in this way can avoid falling in long term relationships. I never imagined I would have to do this in a dating service company which promises to bring two bodies closer to each other and make them as one soul. I felt like leaving the dating service company at once but could not do so as it was a part of my job. However, I got some help from my seniors who showed me some ways to tackle such customers and reply to their emails. Slowly and steadily, I learnt the trick of answering such people. Now, I have being promoted as the senior manager of this company and am very happy working here.
