My girlfriend and I have decided we are going to go sign up to one of the speed dating events on tonight. We have never done this before but since she has recently broken up with a long time boyfriend I thought it would make her feel better to get back out there and enjoy life. I don't think either one of us is going to find love or anything like that but at least she will have a couple of fun hours.

I really want her to see that one day all this terrible pain she is in will go away and that she will find love with the right person. This might be a bit hard to convince her off since she swears her ex was her soul mate. She went out with him for 5 very long years. All of us thought that one day soon theywere going to get married but instead we were shocked to find that they had split up. To us they always seemed like the perfect couple that was destined to be together forever. Even we thought they were soul mates so it came very hard to believe that after being in love withher for 5 years he could so easily pick up and walk away.

Well, hopefully tonight at the speed dating event she can meet a nice guy.Don't get me wrong I would be really happy to meet someone too; I hate not having anyone to sit and cuddle with when I watch TV. at night.Maybe ifwe both met a guy we could do some double dating, I think that would cheer her up quite a bit. Onweeknights we could plan some stay at home get tog ether’s, we can watch movies, eat popcorn and cuddle with our guys.

It will be great, I can't wait to go. We are meeting 16 guys at this speed dating so for sure we are each to meet at least one decent one in the bunch. It'sa crazy thought but maybeI can meetmy future husband, you never know. Then one day I can sit and cuddle withmygrand kidsas I tell them all about how I metmy soul mate at a speed dating event!What a riot, I hope it all goes well, I am going to now and get ready for this grand event,the love of my life awaits and I haveto be ready.
